The simplest method is to use a "Y" cable so you can plug an earpiece or neckloop in at the same time as the Bluetooth.

But by in large, the church has moved away from Comtek and toward Listen Technologies. Both systems use the same radio service, so they're interchangeable. While the listen can be programmed to turn off when the earphone is unplugged, by default that feature seems to be turned off.

The church is also moving toward ListenWiFi. You connect your phone to Liahona and use a ListenWiFI app. I know it's been installed in our stake center, but I've not heard any announcement about it's use.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

For the listen receivers to stay turned on when an external device is plugged in download the configuration software from the Listen website and there is a setting to disable power control by looking at the resistance of what’s plugged in.

The nice thing about Listen receivers is that they don’t use the headphone cable as antenna, which needs to be a tuned length.

Incidentally with the Listen receivers we do use the tuned Williams AV headsets so the same headset will support both receiver models.

I can confirm this transmitter works great! I've accidentally left it connected and it did not disconnect from my hearing aids until I was in the car and down the street several houses away so it should easily cover a chapel. First Auracast transmitter that I've seen that actually works and also inexpensive to boot.
