Even now my EQ has so many sign-up lists going around, that we can't get it passed all the way around whin 50 minutes, let alone 25 minutes.
So who has tried the Signup Genius app? It has a phone app which I just installed, but I had already created an account years ago.
How well has it worked for you?

Re: Ideas for sending out announcements
Current Android Signup Genius reviews indicate very poor function, and some level of advertising is included.
We still pass around sign-up sheets, though sometimes we get a raise of hands (and remember who), then a leader or secretary will create a list for follow-up. I've mentioned taking temporary photos of classes to reference when recording attendance. No bites yet, though photos could work well recording raised hands too. Temple cleaning assignments have a dedicated coordinator. I'm toying with developing online surveys, cause I fiddled a little with them before retirement.
Historically, our unit leaders tend toward apps members use regularly. So text threads and email blasts remain at least fall-backs for us. Since being released (clerk, about June last year) our council appears to have implemented WhatsApp, for themselves. Elders use texts for more pressing coordination needs, and email for more informational sharing. Sisters have been send a monthly informational email for many years. The unit sends a monthly newsletter (also by email). Not sure how youth leaders coordinate (maybe Circles, maybe other resources that youth actively rely on).
With the latest presidency change our stake has been posting to unit webpages. Our unit hasn't engaged with it yet.
The bishopric recently tried linking a QR code to a Sunday bulletin. Not sure if they've figured it out. Maybe they'll ask me sometime.
Cheers! Thanks y'all!
