Is there any existing social strategy documentation? I think there are opportunities with emerging social tech such as Google&#039;s video conferencing (&amp;quot;hangouts&amp;quot;), google+ sparks for news, and &amp;quot;circles&amp;quot; for members to invite gospel discussion. To test the waters, though, we&#039;d want to be sure that we stay in line with any existing policies, etc.&lt;br /&gt;

Apologies to all social media marketers, but just wondering if we may be inadvertently discouraging valuable participation in this project through an overemphasis on soliciting &amp;quot;marketers&amp;quot;....While I have a marketing degree, speak at social media [http://digitalks.com.br/expo/ marketing conferences], have an IT background, and enjoy leveraging new media as an [http://www.creatvsj.org/Show.aspx?show=8446 independent film/TV producer], most of my work in this space involves applying social learning in [http://www.directortom.com/director-tom/2010/1/4/social-media-at-work-arthur-l-jue-interview.html organization development], and my current application of social thinking in the Church is as a member of the [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5ini3MBWNA NorCal Public Affairs Media Committee]. I guess my point is that perhaps the best road to greater innovation on &amp;quot;thinking socially&amp;quot; is an interdisciplinary one....Just a thought....THX for humoring a newbie! :)&lt;br /&gt;
