'''Interactive Books & Magazines''' is a project that is exploring new ways to pair traditional print and rich media into one product. This past year magazines like National Geographic, Martha Stewart Living and Wired have all adopted a platform that allows their content to be distributed monthly to tablets. Using this same platform we have developed a beta version of our November issue of the ''Ensign'' magazine.

===Feedback on Magazine Subscriptions===
Please take a few minutes to answer a few questions about subscription process and any feedback that you have in how we can do better. We are especially interested in feedback for those who live outside of the United States. But all feedback is appreciated. ===To Turn the Hearts Interactive Manual===
To Turn the Hearts is an official app of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that shows how family history can be used as a resource to strengthen individuals and families, increase temple attendance, help new members, and aid activation and missionary efforts. This app contains content from To Turn the Hearts: Leader's Guide to Temple and Family History Work, its accompanying DVD, and other selected videos.
===Interactive LDS Ensign===
The '''LDS Ensign''' app is an interactive that was released just before December 18, 2011 as the first digital edition of the ''Ensign'' magazine. This enhanced issue includes video, audio, hyperlinks and interactive biographies. It is currently a single beta test of the ''Ensign'' magazine.

The LDS Ensign is now in iTunes Newsstand and Google Play. For iPad users, Newsstand offers a few new features:
*The Ensign allows readers to subscribe to the magazine. Once subscribed, any new issues will send a push notification alerting the reader that a new issue is available *for download.
*New Ensign issues will be downloaded in the background and will not require the app to be open at all times.
*Ensign will appear in the Newsstand app bookshelf. Rather than having the Ensign appear as an app on the iPad desktop, it will now be with other magazines in the Newsstand bookshelf.
===The Coat Interactive Storybook===
'''The Coat''' is an interactive storybook based on Heber J. Grant's childhood story. Inside is an interactive story using [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cp3IH8ZNviQ&feature=player_embedded#! The Coat animation]. Each page has different dynamic overlays that expand on the story. Embedded in the end is the animation of "The Coat".
== How to get involved ==
Because this is a new format and project for the Church, we are looking for feedback and testing as we bring new projects to public. As more and more projects are being developed more opportunities for testing will come up and we will always be looking for beta testers. Here are current or upcoming projects that we are looking for testers on:

===Interactive LDS Ensign Feedback===
We are currently looking for feedback on the '''LDS Ensign app'''. Located in the ''Table of Contents'' is a survey that we ask readers to complete. Our goal is to evaluate how readers are using the interactive ''Ensign'' and if this is something that more readers would like in the future.
== ePub Files for Testing ==
