Every time I load the scriptures, tested a few different chapters (Genesis 1 and Moroni 10) in a webpage, the footnote hyperlinks appear for about a second, then disappear. The result is all black text, seemingly with no footnotes. I experience the same thing on Firefox, Chrome, and Chromium.
I am not sure what could be causing this but I expect that something about my setup makes my situation an edge case. I am running Ubuntu 14.04. Thanks for any advice.

On the right, there's a "Hide/Show Footnotes" link. Did that get pressed by accident?
