Scripture preview not rendering whole verse

I have seen this several times: clicking on a scripture link pulls up the scripture preview in the right pane. On occasion, a verse is truncated, as shown in the screenshot (see the first verse in the preview: Luke 22: 47)
Inspecting the source for this shows that the content is there, but wrapped in a tag that is somehow not showing.
