I've just noticed that in Tithing Declaration the names of out-of-unit members are listed this year. They have not been listed in previous years. Is that a new change, and is it on purpose?
We are in a branch, and some of the leadership is called from out of the unit. Last year, each out-of-unit member did their tithing declaration with their home ward bishop. It looks like that is changed for this year and those out-of-unit members will do their tithing declaration with the bishop/branch president where they serve outside of their home ward.

I would be a bit surprised if that's the way it's supposed to be, because if that's the case then they would be listed in both wards. I would check the documentation and see if it says anything about it.
I'll also check with the developer and see if that was an oversight or on purpose. (The declaration system was changed this year for which system it calls for membership information and they might have missed filtering out the out of unit members.

Re: Tithing Declaration for Out of Unit Members
We have one out-of-unit member, a teen who hasn't paid tithing to our unit this year, but does show up on our Tithing Declaration list. Interesting.
I'm interested if the information for those out-of-unit leaders also shows their donations to their home unit? I expect not, likely would only show if they had paid tithing in the out-of-unit Branch, but if it does show their entire tithing info, that would also be interesting. It looks like that is changed for this year and those out-of-unit members will do their tithing declaration with the bishop/branch president where they serve outside of their home ward

In our ward it is showing the amount paid in their home ward, which is obviously not happiness.

I heard back and it was an oversight. They'll be working on a fix.jonesrk wrote: Wed Aug 30, 2023 10:19 pm I'll also check with the developer and see if that was an oversight or on purpose.
