The wiki has a History tab for each article where you can see changes and compare versions.

I probably saw posts previously about the Wiki History, and then forgot it! Thanks for pointing out what was already there, that's definitely helpful to know.greenwoodkl wrote: Mon Aug 25, 2025 12:58 pm The wiki has a History tab for each article where you can see changes and compare versions.

Re: Kindoo Access Control System
So I had all these nice access rules setup and everything was great. They then did the LCR integration and now people have 24/7 access and access to doors they should not. As the manager I am not allowed to revock the access as it was provided by admin.
So it basically sounds like all my access rules are garbage? I no longer have the ability to assign someone to rules and have it handle the access? We don’t want everyone having 24/7 access just because they are in a calling that automatically grants Kindoo access. So how do we do this?

Is it the 24/7 access, or access to doors they shouldn't that's the problem?mmacconnell wrote: Tue Sep 16, 2025 8:02 am now people have 24/7 access and access to doors they should not.
I wouldn't expect 24/7 to be that much of a problem. From what I've heard, it seems that only external doors gets the system. For most buildings, an external door is an external door. What's going on in your situation?

Re: Kindoo Access Control System
We have some that access buildings late at night, specifically the YSA Gathering place. The Bishop over that building wants access only during specific hours for all but the Bishopric and Facilities group.
Just got a call from the group that is doing Kindoo. Apparently there is a switch they need to set so Managers have this this ability after the LCR integration. There is also something that Stake Centers get set so only Stake Leaders have access to the Stake Offices exterior door.
I will find out more after they get these settings done.

Re: Kindoo Access Control System
In post 21 viewtopic.php?t=41853&start=20#p249811 remote door access/unlock was briefly mentioned, but not clarified very well if Kindoo has the capability built in.
We will be having our Sicunet eLock system replaced with Kindoo in 2-3 weeks and that built in function of the Sicunet eLock system has been very handy to accommodate users for a number of reasons.
Does the Kindoo system include remote door access/unlock by the Stake Kindoo manager?

Re: Kindoo Access Control System
The ability to unlock a door remotely with Kindoo is not approved for security reasons. Kindoo has a controller device that allows someone to unlock the door remotely but it logs as the person that unlocked the door and not the actual person that entered the building. These are no longer being installed. Individuals should be granted temporary access instead.

I was afraid that was going to be the answer.waymana wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 9:48 pm The ability to unlock a door remotely with Kindoo is not approved for security reasons. Re: Kindoo Access Control System
It is really is pretty easy to create a temporary user even for a single use (I usually give them 24 hours). Of course the user does need to install the app and authenticate with their church account. From the moment I add them as a user (which can be done from my phone or a computer), it might take a few seconds for them to receive the email invitation, a minute or two to install the app and authenticate, and they are then able to unlock a door.

Re: Kindoo Access Control System
We have been told that there will initially be
50 licenses allocated to the Stake,
20 licenses allocated to each Ward,
we have not been able to get an answer if there are additional licenses allocated for branch leadership. We have two branches in our Stake.
Does anyone know if additional licenses are allocated for branches?
Thanks,
Larry
