Buying stationery with Church wordmark and bishop's name/address?

Post by nathangg »

We've run out of the nice envelopes that have our bishop's name, address, and ward name on it. These envelopes also have the Church wordmark on it..

We recently found out that we can't purchase these envelops through the the Church's Online Store, so we're looking for a high quality download of the word mark and and suggestions on where other people have been happy with envelopes they have purchased through other businesses/stores.

What has worked for other people when purchasing envelopes and where have you gotten the Church wordmark with a white or transparent background? (The wordmark printed on our envelopes also seems to be slightly blue-ish. I see the Church has a color palette we can use, but I think a black wordmark would probably also be fine.

Thank you~!

Edit: I'm confused. I found this page: https://guide.churchofjesuschrist.org/s ... ticleNum=4 , which says:
Stationery applications use the wordmark only. Do not recreate stationery designs. Approved files may be accessed in Church asset management systems (see 4.5.)
The 4.5 page has a bunch of mailto links on it, so it isn't obvious how I can download approved files for stationery, especially when the online store sent us this via email:
Thank you for your message. We no longer offer personalization of stationery and donation envelopes. We apologize that this is no longer available. We also no longer offer the letterhead or stationery envelopes. You are welcome to find, purchase and personalize business envelopes in whatever way works best for your ward's needs.

If you have been approved to create official Church products and cannot access these files, contact the Publishing Services Department (PSD) at PSDAssetManagementTeam@groups.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
I assume the target audience of the Church Communications Guide and the mailto links are for internal Church employees who develop and publish official publications for the Church. I don't think this is intended for local units.

The handbook section 38.8.8 seems to say that local units aren't allowed to use the wordmark except as approved by the First Presidency. Since the church no longer provides stationary with the workmark, I assume local units aren't allowed to use it on their own stationary. But they can use the name of the church as outlined in that section.
