We have a couple in our ward, the wife was a member but the husband was not -- at the time, but he had previously been a member. At any rate, I recorded the marriage to him as a nonmember.
The husband just got re-baptized. I didn't get the new member record that we get for a new convert, it reactivated his original membership record.
He and his current wife are attached in the same household, but the relationship is Other, they are not "married". His previous marriage (to a nonmember) was still listed, so I recorded his divorce.
The wife's record still shows her married to him as a nonmember. There is no way to point that to his member record. There is an option there to record his baptism, but that was apparently not used.
I tried to record the marriage in the husband's record, but it won't let me because the wife's record already shows her as married.
The only option I have is to terminate the existing marriage in the wife's record, perhaps with the same date as the marriage, as you can't completely delete a marriage record. Not sure if it would then let me record the correct marriage date or not though. So I guess this is an issue for member support?

Re: Nonmember to member record conversion issues
Don't try to fix it on your end or you'd end up with a bunch of false marriages/divorces.
Either use the special function in LCR, or call GSD when they open Friday to do this.
