LDS tools info for pc
How do I access the same kind of information that LDS tools mobile provides on my iMac or PC?

You can use a browser to go to LDS.org. Then under the Tools menu, you'll find most of the LDS Tools information in the Directory, and some of it in Calendar. Although these websites present the information in a different format than the LDS Tools mobile apps do, they have all the same information (and more).tjmckeeth wrote:How do I access the same kind of information that LDS tools mobile provides on my iMac or PC?

If you are a ward council member, some of the functionality in the LDS Tools app is also accessible in Leader and Clerk Resources (under the My Account and Ward menu at the top of LDS.org).
Custom lists of members from LDS Tools don't appear anywhere on LDS.org, but if you're a bishopric member, clerk, or executive secretary, you can send emails to pre-defined lists of members using the Send a Message tool in Leader and Clerk Resources.

What kind of phone? iOS, Android, or something else?sirwilliamf wrote:I don't see Sunday School under organizations. how can I access it, it is on my phone not on the website. I am the SS pres... Frustrating.
Are you using the LDS Tools app, or trying to use the LDS.org directory web site from your phone?
Do you see your Sunday School president calling when you log in to the LDS.org/directory site?

Re: LDS tools info for pc
Dated Dec 30 2025 and works on all of my Samsung Galaxy s21 thru s25 and my Apple iPhone 13 (should work with all if not most modern Apple Phones) I use these for FamilySearch demonstrations.
I found two process lists either works...
(I do not own an Apple computer, the process should be similar)
On Your Windows PC (Windows 10/11)
On Your Phone (Android/iPhone) - Install Companion App:
Android: Search for and install the "Link to Windows" app from the Google Play Store (or it might be pre-installed).
iPhone: Install the "Microsoft Phone Link" app from the App Store.
Sign In: Open the app and sign in with the same Microsoft account used on your PC.
Scan/Pair:
Use the camera in the phone app to scan the QR code on your PC screen.
--- Alternatively, enter the code displayed on your PC manually.
Grant Permissions: Follow the prompts on your phone to allow access to calls, messages, photos, and notifications.
Final Steps
Ensure your phone and PC are on the same Wi-Fi network (though mobile data enabled will also work).
You can now manage calls, texts, photos, and notifications from your PC.
P. S. My plain language Google Search "how to install phone link on windows in 2025" I did not provide video links, I did not take time to screen them for appropriate language.
I hope this is helpful... Happy New Year 2025.
