Library app

When I go to the library app it says it is updating. A yellow line shows as it is updating across the screen. The screen then goes blank and stays that way. Nothing happens. Restarting phone or re-entering app has the same thing happen every time. Solution?

What OS? What version?
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Before you delete and reinstall, or clear cache/data – if you highlight and/or make notes in Gospel Library, make sure your recent annotations have been syncing to LDS.org. You can check in Gospel Library Settings if the app lets you get there, or you can log into LDS.org and see if recent notes and highlights are there. If you delete the app and have not been syncing with your LDS Account, your notes and highlights will be lost permanently.
