Cannot See My Circles?

Hi! I am struggling with the Circles. I am in 5 joined circles and have several circles in my Children's Circles but about 1/2 of them do not populate. It doesn't even show the "No Shared Content" logo...it just shows a white screen that says "view only" at the top. There is content, because my daughter has received notifications over the last month or so. I have tried deleting and reloading the app but no success. Can anyone help me figure out what to do? Thank you.
