Creating multiple Aaronic priesthood quorums?

Hello Friends,

We are trying to split our Deacon's quorum in two, but I have no idea how to do this? Is this something that I can do as the Ward Clerk or do I not have the right access?

Is it something that can be done in LCR or MLS?

I obviously know it is possible, but I don't know the mechanics of how to do it. Maybe someone in the Stake has to do it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully someone with current membership rights in LCR can give exact steps but from memory I can tell you this:

* You do it in LCR and you do have rights to do it.
* In LCR go to the Organizations area and find the Deacon's quorum.
* There should be a pencil (or similar) icon next to the quorum name. Click on that and it should have the option to split the quorum.

Go to LCR -> Organizations -> Aaronic Priesthood Quorums -> Deacons Quorum -> Members
Click the Edit "pencil" icon.
Split Quorum
Save
Then move members from Deacons Quorum 1 to Deacons Quorum 2 as needed.
