How to stop receiving emails from old ward?
I keep receiving emails from my old ward, which all have "You received this email because you made your email address available to your local Church leaders." at the bottom. I moved away from that ward roughly a year ago, and would like to no longer receive emails about the various functions and activities in that ward, as there is no reasonable way to participate in them from four states away. How can I remove my email from the mailing list they are using?

Have your membership records been moved to your new ward? As membership clerk in my ward, I'm confident the membership clerks in both wards will appreciate the records being up to date. If you don't know what ward you currently live in, the Meetinghouse Locator can help: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/maps/meetinghouses Enter your address, and it should find your ward.
If the messages you are receiving are automated notifications from the ward/stake calendar, I seem to recall a discussion about a way to disconnect from your old ward's calendar. These posts/threads may help:

If I read correctly, you would need to visit the calendar subscriptions page, which should reset the calendar system to your new ward.

That can be found in emails send by the ward/stake to it's members. It's not found in calendar notifications.Alexander166 wrote: Thu Dec 15, 2022 9:49 pm all have "You received this email because you made your email address available to your local Church leaders." at the bottom.
The best way to fix this is to have a clerk move your records to your current ward.

Thank you both, I'll give it a try and see what happens.
