Do Membership Records Follow Full Time Missionaries

When someone serves a full time mission, do I transfer their records to the location they are serving?

If I retain the records in our ward, do I mark them as present each week, if they are still listed in Covenant Path Progress?

When someone serves a full time mission, do I transfer their records to the location they are serving?

No. Missionary records are maintained in a "Home" unit. By definition the "Home" unit is the ward or branch where the missionary's membership records will likely reside while the missionary is serving. Where the missionary's records actually reside is the "Membership" unit. If there is an expectation that the missionary will return to your unit following their mission then their records should stay in your unit.

I have not experienced a situation where a convert still in the two year covenant path monitoring period has been called to go on a mission. I would be surprised if the convert, now a missionary, were to continue to be listed on the report. Perhaps another forum user with experience in this situation will offer some helpful insight.

Personally, I'd call support and see if the full-time missionary can be removed from Covenant Path. It's pretty pointless for them to be on there.
