Church website performance on Sundays

I haven't been a technology specialist for a few years but received a clerk calling last month. I've noticed that the church website is often slow to respond on Sundays and sometimes, like earlier today, completely unusable. I thought it was just our internet connection, although it's reasonably fast, but I've tried other connecting via a hotspot and it seems to be the site. Is this common?

Yes, it is common. And there have been previous posts to the tech forum that it isn't something that can be easily fixed by adding server capacity or increasing bandwidth.
