Is there Gospel Symbols ( for Autistic persons) in the Gospel for Kids app? If not, please consider that or a seperate Gospel Symbols app with ability to communicate Church related content for those with Autism. There is a family in my Ward with a five year old son with Autism who uses a communtication device with Gospel symbols images downloaded.
I was diagnosed with mild Autism at the age of 23.
What helped me with language was *flash cards, *object lessions, *artwork, *visual aids, *phonics, *Children's Scriptures, *Primary songs, *Hymns, *poetry, *audio-video (DVDs) with captions, *ASL. In addition to those, Mormonads (from the New Era magazine)Seminary/Institute of Religion ( taught by excellent teachers) - the older manuals, & " seeing" the Gospel " in action" by "living" Latter-day Saints ( vs. oxyMormons) helped in learning, understanding & living the Gospel.
*If you create an app for Autistic LDS, consider the those things noted with "*". Thank you.

Re: Gospel for Kids app
Alex, thanks for posting your thoughts. Unfortunately, the Tech Forum primarily serves as a location for user-to-user discussion and self-help, and is not connected in any way to official Church support networks. While there may be a Church employee or two who occasionally participates in Forum discussions, there's no process for taking Forum posts and processing them for consideration.alexmatheson1 wrote: Tue Jul 22, 2025 1:59 pm Is there Gospel Symbols ( for Autistic persons) in the Gospel for Kids app? The method to submit requests like yours is to use the Feedback functionality that is available inside Church apps, as well as at the bottom of most Church webpages. That will get your request in front of whatever decision-makers are involved in these types of considerations inside the corresponding Church department.
That said, posting on the Tech Forum may provide a connection to other church members with similar experiences, so it's always a good idea to also post here about issues even if you submit official Feedback requests to the Church.
