Add new member record without parents info

Add new member record without parents info

Hi everyone!

We have a newly baptized member and I'm in the process of adding/finalizing her records. It won't let me create the record without adding parent's information, as it's considered required information, or at least the names.

For various personal reasons, the member does not feel comfortable sharing her parent's info, even just their names, and has requested that we don't add that information to her record.

Is there any way around putting in that info? Can I just put "Unknown" or is there another way to go about this?

I'd contact support to see if there's something they can do.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
