Member Tools on iPhone - Cannot Login

Member Tools on iPhone - Cannot Login
I have the iPhone 13 with the latest iOS (this is might have been where it quit working) and when I attempt to log in, "There was an issue processing your request. Please try again later." I have tried multiple time within the last few days, deleted and re-installed the app, changed the password, removed the authentication apps. Nothing has worked.

What version of iOS are you on? The Store says you need iOS 17 or higher for the current version.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

I keep it updated, but I do see iOS 26.2. I will update it to the latest and see if that works.

From the Member Tools FAQ:
From an experience many years ago, the password update might take some time to ripple though the servers. Personally, I'd change it and go do something else for awhile and not try to log in right away.Make sure you can sign into ChurchofJesusChrist.org using your current username and password.
If you are able to sign in but have a special character, symbol, or an extra space in your password, update your Church Account password to be alphanumeric.

I can login on the Church's site. I attempted to login on the app and I keep getting the same notice: .... Please try again later. If I suggest to send me a code to my email, it doesn't. It once worked before.

You didn't mention if the password issues mentioned above apply to you.
The other thing is to make sure you have a current version of Member Tools. I know some older versions are no longer supported.
Since the message hints at not being able to talk to a server, is there anything about your phone that might come into play? A VPN, restricted network, security software, etc?

Sorry. I did change the password and I am able to access my account on the web. I did delete the app earlier today and reinstalled from the App Store. I don't have a VPN and I don't see any other reason why it would cease to stop. When I do log into the Church's site, it does take a passkey with my thumb print. I am wondering if there is some difference from logging in from my Mac compared to logging in with my iPhone? I think last month is worked and this month it isn't working. Honestly, I do not recall any real changes since that last time I logged in and now.

Currently, the "Face or Fingerprint Recognition" and "Hardware One-Time Password (OTP) Fob" two-step verification options don't work reliably when signing into the Church's mobile apps. I'd recommend adding another option like Text Message, Okta Verify, or Software Authenticator App to your two-step verification options at Account.ChurchofJesusChrist.org. I removed the passkey (which the passkey worked on my computer and prior to some update, worked on my iPhone Members Tools app). When attempting to login via the app, it won't accept my password, though I updated it with a new password. It gives me an option to login via an email, but that email never comes. I did review my email address and it is correct. No other options are available for me on the app. I had deleted the app since my last post from my cell and I, today, downloaded the app anew and it is still the same problem.

Today, I attempted again to sign in: "There was an issue processing your request. Please try again later." This is the same error that I get on my cell. I can login through the net without a problem (Mac, Safari). I can access it on my iPad as well via the app. But on my iPhone, I cannot—but prior, I was able. I think it happened after an update. I have deleted the app, changed how I can log in, etc. Nothing has worked. It must be some small aspect associated from the iPhone; a remnant of the prior version of the app and it's login? Everything else works on the cell.
