name change for non-member
A man wants the name changed for his non-member spouse, but I can't see how to do it. The edit tool in his marriage information will only let me change the marriage status, not the name..., Any ideas?

On the member's record at the family tab click the edit icon for the Marriage. Then at the edit pop-up click the "Edit Marriage" option. The other option is "Change Marriage Status". Do not use this option. In the Marriage section the nonmember spouse name can be edited along with all other data for the marriage.

Proxying as you I was able to see exactly what jdlessley could for at least one non-member husband in your ward. I'm curious if there are some that don't work. PM me the person you were trying and I can look to see it there's something different about them.zaneclark wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 6:26 amI did exactly that.... And if you really can't edit it yourself you can always call the GSD and have them do it.

Re: name change for non-member
I checked other part member families, and editing for non-member was possible, so it seems there is something different with the just the one. I will PM you with the information.jonesrk wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 8:27 amProxying as you I was able to see exactly what jdlessley could for at least one non-member husband in your ward.
