combining Classes
When I combine CTR 5/6 it works, when I try to combine CTR 5/6 with Valent 7 CTR 5/6 disappears, what is going on??????

To me it looks like it merged the classes correctly but didn't name the class correctly for a merged class. You can edit the name yourself.
It also looks like your 5 and 7 year olds got their class assignments messed up and you'll need to assign them to that class manually.
