Hello everyone,
We have submitted two refund requests for a member in our branch for activities he paid for. The refunds have already been processed in the system and are currently just pending approval from the branch president.
This member will be moving out of the branch this week, and his records will be transferred to a new ward.
Will transferring his membership records affect these pending refunds in any way, or will they still be available for approval and processing through our branch?
Thank you for any guidance!

Re: Moving records from the ward
Once the payment request is input to CUBS through LCR it is tied to a payee record. This payee record is linked to the member's record. Once the membership record is moved out of your unit the payee record will be marked as "out of unit". All outstanding payment transactions will continue through the system regardless as to whether the payee record is an in unit record or out of unit record. You can view all CUBS participants whether nonmember, member in unit, or member out of unit at LCR > Finance> Participants.
Note that if a check is the payment instrument and there is a need to void the check at some future time and a new one reissued to the now out of unit member, it can be done by checking the box, "Include of unit", when the out of unit member's name is typed into the Payee text box on the "Enter Expenses" tab of the Expenses page.
