Windows update and needs Windows account

I know it seems a lot of folks are getting Chromebooks but we aren't there yet, so this last week, the PC updated to a newer version of Windows and when I got in yesterday it wanted to finish doing the Windows setup. One of the steps is to put in your Windows ID and sign in (or create a new Windows ID). I put in my personal Email because I have a Windows acct and so now the PC has sync'd my icons and such from my home Windows. Is there a generic ID we should be using? I really don't like having my personal email tied to the Clerk PC.
